On y vient respirer l&rsquo;air pur, go\u00fbter au plaisir d&rsquo;une bonne marche en famille, dans la fra\u00eecheur de la for\u00eat. Tout cela, vous le trouverez ici. Mais notre territoire \u00e0 sans doute ce petit plus impossible \u00e0 d\u00e9finir qui, depuis la nuit des temps, en a fait une terre d&rsquo;histoire. Au pied du Donon, montagne des mythes pour les anciens, il a fait l&rsquo;envie des puissants, religieux et princes, industriels et militaires, toujours d\u00e9fait, toujours recontruit. s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve, de toute sa beaut\u00e9, sur les rives de la Valdange. \nQuand elle devient importante abbaye de l\u2019ordre des Pr\u00e9montr\u00e9s en 1147, Etival a d\u00e9j\u00e0 crois\u00e9 les chemins de hauts personnages, comme sainte Odile ou Richarde Imp\u00e9ratrice et Reine de France.\nApr\u00e8s avoir franchi les portes d\u2019une fa\u00e7ade du XVIIIe si\u00e8cle, la surprise est de d\u00e9couvrir une magnifique \u00e9glise abbatiale romane, riche des \u00e9volutions de l\u2019architecture au travers des plusieurs reprises l\u2019\u00e9lite savante de l\u2019ordre des b\u00e9n\u00e9dictins.\nL\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gante simplicit\u00e9 de son \u00e9glise, aux dimensions de cath\u00e9drale, contraste avec un mobilier exceptionnel, notamment son orgue et un ensemble de stalles du XVIe si\u00e8cle. <br>
